Today we lost our little Jenny, her little body just couldn't contain her big loving heart. She was the best dog one could ask for and was an integral part of our family and home. My family and I are deeply saddened by our loss, but we will go on as we try and remember all of the pure joy and happiness she brought to our lives.
Recently my 13 year old dog Jenny was diagnosed with an enlarged heart. She began to experience small faint like seizures, and was started on permanent heart meds. At the start of this week she had a massive stroke and had to be rushed to emergency where luckily she was stabilized. She is in recovery and at home but has paralysis on the right side of her body. She needs constant care as she cannot stand on her own. This has been an upsetting week for my family and I and I may be missing for a while from the blog, I promise to be back soon... I just want to devote my time and energy to helping Jenny make a full recovery. Hope you can all send a few prayers and well wishes her way.
Since my last post revealed some things about my life, I thought we've all grown close enough that you should all meet Jenny. Jenny is my amazing, adorable and loveable dog. She is a Jack Russell and Cocker Spaniel mix and she is 11 years young!!
